Caroline has starred in numerous TV dramas, most recently as Louisa Gleeson a school teacher in the hit TV drama Doc Martin.
Caroline started her career with roles in ITV's Peak Practice and The Bill – whilst on the set of the bill she met her husband Michael Higgs (he also played bad boy Andy Hunter in EastEnders).
She then played more demanding lead roles in crime dramas such as The Vice and Murder in Suburbia, she is best known and recognized for playing the long-suffering love interest of GP Dr Martin Ellington in the ITV family drama Doc Martin
